Now you can receive authentic German bread, pickles, sauerkraut and more, delivered straight to your home.  Have you wondered about finding a gift for that special German friend of yours?  Or do you live in an area where it’s virtually impossible to find authentic German style bread, pickles, sauerkraut and more? Let’s face it, gift giving is stressful, and ordering food specialties direct from Germany  means they may have sat in a container for weeks.   Signing up with the German Food Club is a great way to bring some authentic tastes right to your door.   Each month you will receive a shipment of  bread and pickles/sauerkraut/beets delivered fresh right to your door.  

Each month you will receive 2 loaves of bread from Bernhard’s Bread Bakery.  Bernhard exclusively uses sun ripened whole grain (including the grain’s germ) to provide you with a source of power, stamina and health using only the finest quality ingredients to provide your body with important fiber and nutrients.  Each loaf is sliced,  weighs 1.5-2.0 lbs and you will receive 2 loaves in each shipment.  Also in each shipment, you will receive 3, sixteen ounce jars of products from Kruegermann Pickles.  In 1896 Carl Kruegermann started producing pickles in the small German town of Luebbenau.  In 1961 the DDR government took the business away and Kurt came to the United States.  Using his “old world” recipes and high quality produce from California, he sold his products to European delicatessens and restaurants.  Today, the business has grown to a 25,000 square foot facility, but it still keeps its authentic German roots in all the Krügermann products. Each shipment contains 3, 16 ounce jars.  

Then for Christmas you will receive a Christmas stollen from Hofer's Bakery in Helen, GA.  Hofer's is owned and operated by the Hofer's son Ralph, who along with a trained staff, provides the quality of product and service on which the company was founded. The Bakery was built to combine old world quality and modern European equipment. They bake all our breads in a stone hearth oven. All the ingredients we use are the finest quality available.

All shipments are made the first week of the month via USPS.

Due to shipping restrictions we can only ship to the lower 48 states and not Canada.  Remember that you can freeze your bread safely and easily so you can enjoy fresh bread whenever you want.

Your order will begin on the next month from when your order is placed. As an example, if you order on April 23, your first shipment will be for May.  We are sorry, but no substitutions may be made from what is listed here.  Specific items may change due to availability.
